Yeah, They are that ugly gold color. You can pry that gold part away from the chrome piece. I had the gold piece painted and then reattached it to the chrome piece.

they are getting harder and harder to find, ebay SLP grille + monte carlo and see what you can come up with. Direct from GMPD they have the Tony Stewart but it is ridiculously expensive.

I put a chevy emblem off a Cobalt on my grille. I think it fills the grille a little better. I had mine painted pearl white to match the 06-07 SS emblems.

I like it all you need to put a color overlay on it.
